Q&A: Why is firefox remembering what websites I was using before I quit browsing?

Question by Garlock: Why is firefox remembering what websites I was using before I quit browsing?
It’s causing some embarrassing problems. I just got off a porn site, and then I used firefox again, and it went straight back to the porn site I was using, but I went to do something else because I thought it would send me to my homepage. But then my dad decided that he wanted to snoop around in my bedroom while I was grabbing a sandwich. I’m pretty sure he saw the video of two really hot and very skilled German women teaming up on this really lucky guy. I’m glad he didn’t say anything, but I want to avoid this very embarrassing situation in the future. How can I set firefox to just go to my homepage at startup?

Just close your porn window before you close Firefox, man. Geez. Oh and you might want to delete your browsing history too just in case.

  1. The Phlebob says:

    Do this:

    1. Click the Tools->Options menu item.
    2. Click the General tab.
    3. Set the When Firefox Starts list box to Show a Blank page or Show my home page.
    4. Click OK.

    Hope that helps.
