    SCORE is a national nonprofit organization, sponsored by the SBA. SCORE volunteers are retired senior executives with extensive experience in almost all types of businesses.

    There should be a SCORE chapter in your home city. Go to http://www.SCORE.org, to find out the contact details of your local chapter.

    You can schedule a face-to-face counseling session, or use the email counseling option. You can get lots of material about starting a business – incorporation, licensing, insurance, taxes, marketing, etc from SCORE.

    I am a SCORE counselor in California, and I have helped many people to start businesses.

    Of course, all of SCORE’s counselling and materials is absolutely free.
