How do I stop Fallout 3 from crashing at startup (right before loading)?

Question by A: How do I stop Fallout 3 from crashing at startup (right before loading)?
My husband just installed a new graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX series for his desktop. Now Fallout 3 keeps crashing right before loading. There is an audio error message that follows.
Do you know of any websites, patches, forums, info that could help solve this issue? Thanks in advance.
Yes we have all the min requirements, everything is also up to date, F3 worked prior to the new video card upgrade.
I know simple solution would be to just reinstall the older version of the vid card but he does not want to since all our other games work fine.

Sounds like a hardware compatibilty issue. Does the rest of your system meet the minimum spec?

    hey , if u have the full rip skullptura’s version it had a problem & it crashes , just go to mininova.org and search for fallout3 fix ……

    otherwise its a problem with ur hardware ..
