how can i stop my pc from crashing?

Question by doctor_doctor: how can i stop my pc from crashing?
my computer freezes whenever i watch videos, when i enter certain websites… and every time it freezes, i restart it manually, but it freezes right on startup…. is there something i can do to fix my pc?

    Maybe using up too many resources. Try disabling some applications at start up that you don’t need at start up and can start them manually from a shortcut when needed.

    I bet it hasn’t crashed, I bet it is frozen. If you give it forever, it will unfreeze. Everyone is going to tell you to not run so many things. That will help, especially if you have a lot going on. But it won’t stop it from freezing on the videos or the really big websites. What you need for that is a faster computer. So its put up with it, or lay out the dough. Firefox is a little faster than IE. That might help. In fact, it made enough difference for me, that I will put up with it. And then it starts running the scheduled junk and I start thinking again.
