I want to sell my college textbooks, but I don’t want to sell them back to my bookstore. They rip people off when they sell it to you and they give you back pennies when they are ready to buy them back. Is there a good website out there that pays decent money for textbooks? I used to sell back books to my bookstore every semester, but this semester they pissed me off. They would pay me 8 dollars for a book that I paid 60 dollars. lol.

The reason you only got $8 is that there’s probably a new edition out. It’s all based on supply and demand. It’s not likely that you’re going to get much more on an online site…plus, you’ll have to go to the trouble and expense of shipping them.

ebay, you can sell stuff for high prices, amazon also.

I sell all my old books on Amazon and it’s very easy to do. You set the price yourself but you have to be prepared to parcel them up and send them. Don’t sell very heavy books like dictionaries because they set one fee for postage and it’s not enough for heavy books.
