Question by Rashed: Can’t browse websites. It says “Proxy server cannot establish connection” Details below?
Even my messenger is working, but I cannot open any website. It happened from the past 3 days. FYI, I’m using Firefox 5 (also tried with Internet explorer). I’m using Windows 7 and my wifi modem is a Netgear. Would really appreciate if someone can get me out of this mess.

you should check your computer for viruses and how did you post this?

    Open firefox and then do the following:

    Go to Options, Select the Advanced tab and then under connection, click settings and select No Proxy.

    You can try the same with Internet Explorer (It should be there in the internet Option)

    This should do the trick. And yes, do scan for viruses as the other answerer mentioned.
