For my next speech at my Toastmasters club (www.toastmasters.org) I need to give an “entertaining” speech.

The objectives are:
* To entertain the audience through the use of humor drawn from personal experience & from other material that I have personalized”

* Deliver the speech in a way that makes the humor effective

* Establish personal rapport with your audience for maximum impact.

* Must be 15 to 20 minutes long.

Choose someone you know very well or for a very long time. Then focus on some funny experiences you remember about that person and tell the audience about them. You’ll be surprised how quickly 15-20 minutes goes by. You may also want to speak with some friends to see if they had any stories growing up with this friend.
