Question by Cynthia: A few questions about Ayia Napa?
1. Do you generally need I.D? I will turn 18 the day after I get there but everyone I am going with will still be 17? Will we get into clubs and be served alcohol still? (No lectures please!)

2. Some websites “adult” is classed as 12+ but others it is 18+. Will the hotel expect one of us to be an adult in the true sense of the word (18) when they check passports on arrival?

3. I know that the currency is Euros and that 100.00 GBP = 113.158 EUR so not that much difference, but would you say Cyprus is more expensive or cheaper than England to generally buy things? For example, cigarettes. In portugal, they were 3.20 for 20 which was like 3 GBP but over here their a fiver. So although not much difference between currency, their country was a lot cheaper to buy things. Thankyou!

Amy other tips or reccomendations would be great as it isn’t booked yet!

Since Cyprus joined europe and their currency to euros prices have really increased dramatically.Why would you want to spend all that money going to another country just to drink and smoke.Better to stay at home and save your money!
